Creator Center

Language can now be set to Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), or Chinese (Traditional) from the Creator Center (like the portal).

General

A feature to display the MapleStory Worlds Terms in your local language based on your Nexon account’s registered region has been added.
- For example, if you selected Germany as your Nexon account’s registered region, then the Terms will now be displayed in German in order for you to better understand the Terms you are accepting.
- As guided in our Upcoming Term Re-Acceptance After the July 23 Maintenance notice, please be aware that you will receive a pop-up notice asking you to re-accept the Terms upon logging into the MapleStory Worlds website or the app after the update maintenance.

The World Coin transaction and purchase page has been improved.
- You can now see the transaction number when viewing all charge history on the World Coin page.
- For World Coin purchases made on mobile (Android, iOS), please check the respective market store.

The group leader badge has been added to the group profile page.

You can now view World indicators for each release region on the World indicators page in Create World.

Creator group members can add group members only when a player requests to join.
- Players can request to join a group by clicking the group name on the World description page.
- The group leader can review requests and decide whether to approve or reject.
- The Add Member button in the group's Manage Members page has been removed.

If a purchaser requests and receives a refund for a transaction that has already been paid out as revenue, it will be processed as follows:
- If the current revenue balance is larger than the refunded amount, it will be deducted from the balance.
- If the current revenue balance is smaller than the refunded amount, it will still be deducted from the balance, resulting in a negative balance.

Spanish, Chinese (Simplified), and Chinese (Traditional) are now supported in the footer of the MapleStory Worlds homepage.

The date format has been unified to YYYY-MM-DD or YY-MM-DD.

The text on the screen for MapleStory Worlds (TEST) now displays in English in regions outside of Korea.

When a group or World name contains consecutive spaces, the actual number of spaces is now correctly displayed.
- When Entering Group Names
  - Any spaces at the very front or end of the name will be deleted and won't count towards the character count.
    - ' M World' (9) → 'M World' (7)
  - Consecutive spaces between words will display and count towards the character count.
- When Entering World Names
  - Spaces at the very front or end of the name will display and count towards the character count.
    - ' M World' → ' M World'

Lobby

The Member Level Guide button has been added to the detailed group page.
- This button displays a creator guide explaining the member's grade and permissions.

Maker

You can separate the Scene panel from the Play (Preview) panel when performing a playtest.
- Scene Panel
  - The Scene panel's toolbar retains functions needed for map editing, such as grid information, platform data, play from the starting map, cursor position, and UI snap.
- Play (Preview) Panel
  - Functions related to playtest will be moved to the Play panel's toolbar, including playtest resolution preview, test language settings, and performance statistics.

The Free option has been added to the platform setting context menu so that the resolution can be freely set while using the Maker for testing purposes.

Added a mode that allows direct editing of model entries.
- You can enter edit mode by double-clicking a model entry in the Workspace or by using Model Extension Info.
- In edit mode, the model is edited within a separate hierarchy isolated from the current Map, allowing for more flexibility in removing child entities and components from the model.
- ❗ Please be aware:
  - Changes made to a model will not be automatically applied to model-based entities that have already been placed. You must manually apply the changes using Revert.
  - If a child model is included within a parent model, the connection information for the child model will be removed, and it will be recognized as part of the parent model.

The screen and touch APIs will now use the resolution of the device selected by Scene in the Maker environment.
- If PC is selected, the FHD resolution of 1920x1080 will be used.
- If a mobile device is selected, the specified device's actual resolution will be used.
- If Free is selected, the current Scene window's resolution will be used.
- The following properties represent the device's actual width and height. 
  - UILogic.ScreenWidth
  - UILogic.ScreenHeight
- The following functions convert in-game coordinates to the position based on the device's resolution.
  - UILogic:WorldToScreenPosition
  - InputService:GetCursorPosition
- The following events display the touch coordinates based on the device's resolution.
  - UITouchBeginDragEvent, UITouchDownEvent, UITouchDragEvent, UITouchEndDragEvent, UITouchEnterEvent, UITouchExitEvent, UITouchUpEvent 
  - TouchEvent, TouchHoldEvent, TouchReleaseEvent
  - ScreenTouchEvent, ScreenTouchHoldEvent, ScreenTouchReleaseEvent , ScreenTouchEditorEvent, ScreenTouchHoldEditorEvent, ScreenTouchReleaseEditorEvent, TouchEditorEvent

Warnings will now be issued for items that have dependencies when Importing or Exporting Worlds.

VS Code can now be integrated from LocalWorkspace for use. 
- When activating WorldConfig → UseExtendedScriptFormat, the VS Code integration option will be displayed under Setting → Maker → LocalWorkspace. 
- Note: VS Code integration is only supported on Windows.

Components that are protected by the system or that have dependencies can no longer be added/removed from the Maker.

You can now select the desired language code from the context menu when clicking the Add Column button from LocaleDataSet.

An error message will be displayed when any individual entry exceeds 16MB when a mod file is being imported from LocalWorkspace.

ClientOnly and ServerOnly can now be set on StructType, BTNode, EventType, ItemType, and StateType.
- ❗ Please be aware: If you apply ClientOnly or ServerOnly to a StructType using methods not officially supported by Maker, and then call it from an invalid context, it may cause issues in existing Worlds.

When a World that you are trying to Teleport is under maintenance, the Teleport will fail to process.

A warning log will display when a DataSet includes a row with a duplicate key in the Maker. We recommend removing duplicate rows when possible.

The marks for Component Properties marked as "Deprecated" in Maker will be updated.

A new "Obsolete" status will be added to the list of Component Property states in Maker.
- ❗ Please be aware: Obsolete means that the target API will soon be deleted. If this API was previously in use, please replace it with another API. 
  - The Script Assist function isn't supported for such APIs, and a warning will display when in use.
  - Once the API has been removed, it will no longer work, so please take the proper measures in advance to prevent any issues in your Worlds.

Removed the BTNode's property Sync toggle.

API

AccountRegion's effect on what Worlds a player may access has been changed.
- (Previous) Based on player's account registration region → (New) Based on player's access region
- As informed in our June 26 Upcoming World Play Availability Criteria Change notice, after the change, when a player attempts to access a World, the system will verify whether the region from which the player is currently accessing the World matches the region where the World is officially supported. World access will be determined based on this match. 
- ⚠️ Due to this change, preparation may be necessary if you would like to restrict access for players from certain regions.
- Please refer to the AccountRegion guide for details.

Added an event that detects changes in a component's EnabledInHierarchy.

Added a method that converts screen coordinates to UI coordinates.

Added new properties to RigidbodyComponent.

The following RigidbodyComponent properties have been changed to Obsolete and are scheduled for removal in v1.26.0. Please replace these with new properties.

- QuaterViewAccelerationX
- QuaterViewAccelerationY
- ❗ Please be aware: If you are currently using IsQuaterViewMove, QuaterViewAccelerationX, or QuaterViewAccelerationY, please replace them with KinematicMove, KinematicMoveAcceleration, and EnableKinematicMoveJump, respectively.

The following components will now display a warning when the number of Tiles in the TiledSize property is outside of the valid range.
- SpriteRendererComponent
- ClimbableSpriteRendererComponent

Optimization

Improved instances of the Workspace loading speed dropping when there are too many entries in a single directory.

Other

Debugger for mLua will be released on the Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

Bug Fixes

Lobby

Fixed an issue in which files could not be attached when submitting a “Creator Inquiry” for specific Worlds in the mobile (Android) environment.

Fixed an issue in which text was pushed to the front when editing a World's name to be longer in detailed World creation information.

[Updated July 23 PT] Fixed an issue where search results in the Avatar Shop would change inconsistently each time a tab or category was switched after a search.

Platform

Fixed an issue where the gray layer (data:origin) could be arbitrarily modified and registered in the avatar creation sheet.

Even if you modify the data:origin in Adobe Photoshop, it will automatically be applied as a fixed data:origin value when registering your avatar.

Maker

Fixed an issue with Build Console log messages after Importing Packages.

Fixed an issue in which duplicate entry name checks were not happening as intended when loading Script entries through Import Package.

Fixed an issue in which the operation didn't stop when canceling a DataSet Import.

Fixed an issue in which some files would go missing when a local file's folder hierarchy was changed and then saved from LocalWorkspace.

Fixed an issue in which Dynamic entry loads were not operating as intended in LocalWorkspace.

Fixed an issue in which an error triggered when converting a property Description to mlua in LocalWorkspace.

Fixed an issue in which UI text displayed as null, accompanied by a console error, when creating a new design mode World through Create New - Design when a language other than Korean or English is selected in Settings - Maker- Playtest Language.

Fixed an issue in which duplicating a UI entity that uses a model in the coproduction group World Maker would only duplicate the top-most entity.

Fixed an issue in which the Material applied to BackgroundComponent was not visible after moving maps.

Fixed an issue in which the marker would not display in certain areas when frames were added by dragging them from the AnimationClipEditor timeline.

Fixed an issue in which the SafeArea wasn't identified as intended when a mobile platform was selected in the Maker.

Fixed an issue in which a StructType’s property was displayed as Sync in ScriptAssist.

Fixed an issue where the UITransform property editor appeared as editable for child entities under GridviewComponent and ScrollLayout. It will now be displayed as read-only.

Fixed an issue where a purchase-related popup would appear full-screen during test play in the Maker.

API

The following two functions will now reflect the correct environment based on the selected platform (PC, Mobile) when executed from the Maker.

Fixed the following bugs related to KinematicbodyComponent:
- Fixed an issue in which touching a space without a tile in a RectTile map would teleport the user to (0, 0).
- Fixed an issue in which moving at high speeds in a RectTile map would sometimes cause the user to leave the map.
- Fixed an issue in which the MapleStory Worlds app sometimes froze when moving in a RectTile map.

Fixed an issue in which a null reference error would occur when pressing the interact key while playing when there was no TransformComponent of the player.

Fixed an issue in which the SafeArea was not recognized on mobile devices.

Fixed an issue regarding misalignment that would occur when the UiTransformComponent's RectSize of an Entity with an added GridViewComponent is expanded.

Fixed an issue where the UVs and vertices of PixelRenderer sprites were being updated incorrectly.
- PixelRenderer will now always render the full area.
- The SpriteMeshType will be set to FullRect instead of Tight, ensuring the entire area is consistently rendered.

Fixed an issue in which physics collisions were not being detected for a TileMapComponent spawned through DynamicMapService, despite the PhysicsInteractible flag being set to true.

Fixed an issue in which applying and executing a behavior tree with an infinite loop to AIComponent would trigger a crash.

Fixed an issue where the UITransform position value was not correctly recognized on mobile devices.
